Autonomous execution, governed by policy and people.

Every AugreyOS task follows a traceable lifecycle from user intent to verification, audit, and feedback — with policy checks and human approval at every sensitive step.

Ten checkpoints from intent to audit.

Each step is structured, logged, and reversible — so AI execution stays accountable to people and policy.

  1. Intent Capture. User asks for a task, uploads a file, triggers a workflow, or a connected system emits an event.
  2. Classification. AugreyOS identifies the module, entity, urgency, risk, and likely workflow.
  3. Permission Check. IAM, tenant boundaries, role, policy, and data sensitivity are evaluated.
  4. Context Retrieval. Approved records, documents, policies, tasks, and historical decisions are retrieved.
  5. Reasoning and Planning. The cognitive brain builds a plan with required steps, tools, approvals, and fallback paths.
  6. Approval Routing. Sensitive actions are sent to the right human approver with rationale and evidence.
  7. Tool Execution. Approved actions are executed through APIs, connectors, adapters, or internal services.
  8. Verification. The platform checks whether the downstream action succeeded and reconciles state.
  9. Notification. Users and systems receive status updates.
  10. Audit and Learning. Every input, decision, approval, tool call, and result is logged for review and improvement.

What AugreyOS will not do without approval.

Governance is enforced at the platform layer — not left to prompts.

No payments executed without explicit approval.
No contract signatures without an authorized signer.
No destructive security action without InfoSec approval.
No public marketing content without configured approval.
No data export outside approved policy.
